2026 Lewis W. Butler Foundation Updates

Stephanie Pan graduated from UCSD in 2026 and is interning at Rady Children’s Hospital, where she is helping create a coloring book for adolescents battling cancer.

Dalon Li graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Architecture and is working as a Project Engineer at Saarman Construction in Alameda. 

Sky Pankhurst graduated from Howard University’s architecture program and is currently studying for their architectural licensure while job searching and helping their parents with their baking business. 

Angela Tampubulon completed her undergraduate degree in architecture at UC Berkeley and is currently interning at Perkins&Will. She plans to pursue graduate studies in architecture and urban planning. 

Sherry Tram interned with Autodesk this summer. She is returning to her studies in Information Science and Digital Arts at UC Irvine in the fall.


2025 Lewis W. Butler Foundation Updates

Angelo Serrano’s The Cool Film Idea.mp4 won Best Animation at the Butte Film Festival!

Clarissa Jocelyn graduated from Biola University, where she oversaw editorial operations, content strategy, and team management for the Chimes student publication. Her publication won three first-place awards at the California College Media Association (CCMA) for Best Online or Print Advertisement, Best Newspaper Column, and Best Newspaper Website.

Jadelynn Johnson graduated from Howard University’s BS/MArch program. She is a Project Engineer with Suffolk Construction in New York. 

Annie Aguilar interned with the SF Latino Task Force, spending her summer with the Cultura y Arte Nativa de las Americas, assisting in summer programming.


2024 Lewis W. Butler Foundation Updates

Angelo Serrano’s freshman year film Pips Delivery won Best Animated Short at Bay Area Student Shorts film festival in April.  It was featured again at the Mobile Animation Film Festival (MAFF) in October.

Guillermo Macias won a nomination for the 2024 class of Metropolis Future 100 Designers. He also participated in the 2024 BioDesign Challenge in New York City, where his team’s project, Shell we Dance?, won the “Outstanding Science” award at MoMA and was later published in the 2025 CAADRIA proceedings.
